The Strawberry Duck

Nestled within the wild and wonderful Lancashire Moors, the Strawbury Duck is a hidden gem, and possibly one of the best kept secrets in Bolton.

With the recent refurbishments, this 18th century Inn has been restored to its former glory as a traditional British pub.

The menu is inspired by traditional specialties, with a wide range of Lancashire food classics and all produce is sourced locally.We also have a selection of award winning cask ales, giving you the chance to embrace that little bit more British culture.

Craggy stone floors, warm wooden furniture, candlelit rooms and real log burning fires create the perfect pub atmosphere.

Making the Duck an ideal retreat for travellers, visitors and walkers alike, the Duck is a great place to rest and unwind, amidst some of the most beautiful English countryside.
Here at the Duck all our produce is carefully sourced and we pride ourselves on using only the finest ingridients for our dishes.

For an abundance of freshness and taste we rear our very own local produce.

Currently we breed our own rare breed free range Saddleback pigs which which offer a delicious selection of pork, ham, bacon, sausages and suckling pig. You simply can not get a more fresh, quality and tasty source.

Each week we feature a selection of guest ales to accompany our variety of fine ales. And we have a fine wine list specially formulated to complement our menu.
