Bit noisy up top, but nicely subdued downstairs in the restaurant. I had the 10oz rump steak and it was so tender I could have easily cut it with the wrong side of the knife. She who is to be obeyed had the rib-eye and said it was out of this world (bit like her then!). Lots of choices for the main courses, all served with excellent roast potatoes and fresh veg. Tables were a bit close together, but the meal more than made up.

Not for me! In fact, if you are over 40 and respect your ear drums, you'll go elsewhere. It probably suits younger people who don't care if they are deaf before they reach the age of 50, but for anyone who wants to hold a conversation without shouting, this is not the place to go.
The beer's okay, the staff are okay, the location is okay. It's the noise levels that are waaaay to loud. I like music, but not when it's at 150 decibels right in my ear!
