Milntown House Restaurant

Set in a light and airy conservatory, Milntown House Restaurant has wonderful views of both the orchard and the famous Winchester gates. The menu features a wide range of delicious home cooked seasonal dishes, light lunches, cakes and teas. Events, weddings and special functions can be catered for all year round. Whether it be a marquee event in the grounds, or a smaller private party, it can be designed to suit your requirements.

The Milntown Restaurant has been open since 2011 and is run by Jennifer Monro, Restaurant Manageress, and Simon Child, Head Chef. Set in a light and airy conservatory, the restaurant has wonderful views of the orchard and the famous Winchester gates which lead into the gardens.

Our philosophy at Milntown is to offer a seasonal and locally sourced menu. We champion our local suppliers and even use the produce from the organic Milntown gardens. Our passion doesn't end with the food; we aim to provide delicious food combined with excellent front of house service to make your visit to Milntown special.

Our suppliers include Lough Dhoo Farm - provide the potatoes for our famous homecut chips. Cushlin Seafoods - supplies fresh crab, lobster, queenies and scallops.

And we are lucky to be able to use the produce from our own organic gardens at Milntown. We have used the tomatoes, apples, peaches, beetroot, rhubarb, herbs, salad leaves, leeks, grapes and flowers for the restaurant!
