My husband and I ate in Royal India last night. As always, the food was fresh and tasty. There is a good selection, and some dishes are not too spicy, which is appreciated when we eat with our grandchildren.
The manager is very smiley and helpful. The background music is not offensive, so conversations can quietly go on during the meal.
I recommend this place where you can eat delicious food in a cozy atmosphere.

The unassuming shop frontage hides a clean, welcoming interior where the satff, it seems, simply can't do enough to please. The food is all freshly cooked to order and ranks amongst the best Indian food I've ever eaten. If you have the good sense to visit here, you will not be disappointed either by your welcome or the food.

As always, the Royal India never fails to please. The manager is an absolute gem - always courteous, always smiling, always professional. The food is freshly cooked and extremely tasty. Like the previous reviewer, I've now worked through most of the menu - with GREAT pleasure. And when get to the end, I shall simply start again!!

The Royal India is just down the road from me, so we go frequently - not because it's close but because it's VERY GOOD. It's only a small restaurant (seats about 40 max, I imagine) but that makes it cozy and adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The food is always cooked fresh and is really delicious (there's a whole range from very mild up to 'blazing saddles') and I'm gradually working my way through the whole menu.
Extremely friendly and helpful manager. Very highly recommended.
