About The Station

The Station is a great pub popular for serving delicious home-made traditional pub fayre. As the name suggests it is perfectly situated for the steam train as well as only 100 yards from arguably the most stunning beach the island has to offer. The building is particularly handsome and the atmosphere extremely welcoming. We recommend taking the train down south and enjoying a fabulous meal here before sampling the pleasures Port Erin has to offer.

In addition to a great selection of traditional ales, The Station's kitchens are always kept busy by the many happy customers who come to eat. The fayre is tradional "pub grub" with the emphasis on fresh and tasty.

During TT week we visited lots of pubs and pub restaurants in the island and without a doubt the one that impressed us the most was The Station at Port Erin. Great beers, friendly people, excellent food and reasonable prices. We'll be back again next year, that's for sure.

We went to The Station in the summer (July-August) and were delighted with the food and the way the staff were attentive and polite.

We had some friends with us from France and they were asking about a particular beer... the landlord did no more than give us "tasters" so we could try it out... now that's good public relations!

And it worked because a few weeks later we came back with some more visitors. We highly recommend The Station when you're in Port Erin
