About The Riverbank Bar & Kitchen

The Riverbank bar and restaurant in Nottingham is situated near Trent Bridge, Nottingham with its stunning riverside views and walks along the leafy Embankment, has now been extensively converted into a stylish and modern 250-capacity bar and 110-seater restaurant, with a separate Gallery function room and an in-house Deli. Outside boasts an extensive ultra-chic, all-weather terrace with wild-flame heaters and sunken wind-free enclaves to keep you snug and warm in winter and all of which is shaded from the sun and showers during our glorious English summers.

At the hub of the Riverbank is an informal, but ever-bustling deli neatly 'sandwiched' between a tasty state-of-the-art architect-designed bar and brasserie-style restaurant, serving some of the best food in town under the creative supervision of our head chef, Mark Osborne. Mark's kitchen ethos is to source the finest local produce to create a simple & affordable, yet well-cooked cuisine.

You may prefer to choose from a menu of traditional fish and chips or perhaps a mouthwateringly tasty homemade burger. However, rest assured that there will always be a few special, cheffy dishes on offer to tempt even the most discerning of 'foodies' - classics like scallops with black pudding - indeed, the Riverbank can proudly boast a broad spectrum of dishes to suit all palates; the choice will happily be 'all yours'!

Had a great evening here. Amazing setting, lovely busy atmosphere. Sadly we arrived too late to eat but the plates being served around us looked really excellent and the deli counter delicious. The Riverside has lovely funky atmosphere in a gorgeous location along side the river (as maybe the name suggests!!), Huge outside terrace with heating. Band were excellent and played a mixture of 70s stuff.

Really was a great evening with friendly staff and good atmosphere.

It was pleasant, sunny evening when I went, so naturally the huge terrace and outdoor eating areas were already full. It made for a great atmosphere but meant we had to sit indoors (poor us!).

The Riverbank team couldn't have been more accommodating. We were seated promptly in the restaurant, the service was efficient, staff enthusiastic and the food was of impressive quality. We left thoroughly satisfied after a wonderful and delicious evening. Try the chorizo starter and Chicken main!
