About The Saxon Mill

Experience The Saxon Mill. We know you'll love the open plan, stylish interior, featuring open kitchens, stone fired ovens and log burning fires, offset by beautifully landscaped decking for alfresco dining.

The Saxon Mill enjoys unrivalled views over the river and Guys Cliffe. Over the summer months you can meander the day away enjoying fine food and chilled wines and beers, forgetting about the worries of work! We also have the 'Warwick Suite' where you can book private dinners for up to 60, have a meeting, or why not your wedding breakfast?

The atmosphere at the Saxon Mill is relaxed, friendly and informal, while the overall impression is of a pub which is comfortable, light and open. It is our attention to detail and high level of service that ensures your whole dining experience at the Saxon Mill will be truly memorable. The Saxon Mill is surrounded by beautiful countryside and a popular resting place for walkers and ramblers.

Our menu changes with the seasons and is modern British, comfortably interwoven with some Mediterranean influences. It ranges from traditional favourites such as fish and chips and steaks to freshly made pizzas and pastas with the chef’s daily specials showcasing the finest market fresh ingredients. There’s something for everyone and for all occasions too. You don’t have to go for the full works if you don’t want to, just have a snack and a lovely drink in the bar with your friends.

The Saxon Mill is a lovely place to visit on a sunny autumn day. Really nice surroundings in the restaurant along with pleasant, helpful service. The decor is top notch, with a feeling of "old meets new". With a roaring fire and comfy sofas, it was beautifully cosy and relaxing.

We chose to eat bar meals in the pub area rather than the restaurant. The bar staff were extremely friendly and the menu had a great choice. The food was all piping hot and excellent quality. I shall happily go again.
