Review of The Bathwick Boatman - Bath - Somerset written 20 Jul 2012

The surroundings, the service and the food were all excellent. The staff were attentive, welcoming and courteous.

I had the goats cheese as a starter and it was truly delicious. The smoked salmon was plentiful and all our roast dinners were cooked to perfection. It's clear they only use the best ingredients. This restaurant deserves to succeed and I, for one, will definitely return - maybe when we can enjoy sitting outside in the sun overlooking the river. Don't be afraid to give it a try

Review of The LeeBurn - East Kilbride - South Lanarkshire written 28 Feb 2012

It does exactly what it says on the box! Decent food, plenty to eat on every plate at affordable prices and a drink to go with it. We were very impressed by the friendliness of all the staff. Nice relaxed atmosphere and good surroundings. The children's menu is really good. Adult portions for adults and decent portions for kids.

Difficult to fault it at the price.

Review of Coach & Horses Inn - Dersingham - Norfolk written 19 Jan 2012

We called in here for dinner on a Saturday night and the place was fully booked and bubbling. Nevertheless, we received a warm welcome and a table was found for us with only a short wait. We had a terrific meal including whitebait and duck breast with fresh vegetables. The food was beautifully cooked and delicious. The local brew helped washed it down and the service was excellent. The atmosphere relaxing and warm. It's small but has all you want in a country pub

Review of The Famous Creg Ny Baa - Onchan - Isle of Man written 22 Dec 2011

It wasn't difficult to find The Creg - it's the only building for miles! We went there on a cloudy day, so the view was "limited" most of the time, but when there was a break in the clouds, it was easy to see how spectacular it would be on a sunny day.

Everybody was very friendly and they serve a great beer. I had Deep Fried Brie followed by their own "Moby Dick" Deep Fried Cod. I was far too stuffed to go for a dessert (though I did manage another couple of beers!)

Highly recommended!
