About The Bradgate

Welcome to The Bradgate, where we hope that you will have an enjoyable experience every time you visit be it for a quiet drink or a special meal.

Join us for a morning coffee from 11:30am - throughout the Summer we will be open all day so you can pop in for afternoon tea or maybe come see us at Pimms O’Clock! A friendly face will always be around to serve you.

John & Eve Bowtell pride themselves on their customer service and you will often find one or both of them serving on the bar or in the restaurant.

John & Eve took ownership of The Bradgate with a view to create an easy going drinking atmosphere and a home-from-home dining experience with traditional food for everyone.

Doting Grandparents, John & Eve welcome families to The Bradgate, offering a family dining area with highchairs and childrens menus. Your four legged friends are welcome in the beer garden where Rover & Lassie can share a bowl of fresh water and maybe a few tit-bits from your own plate.

Also part of this family team is Jo, John & Eve's daughter and her boyfriend Craig. Finally completing the front of house management team is Dan who has worked at the pub for over 7 years. Within our busy kitchen, Alex & Carla work hard with Nino, Albert & Oliver to provide daily feasts for our customers.

We received a very friendly welcome at The Bradgate. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu, so no misunderstandings at all.

I had the homemade Duck & Orange pate which was truly excellent, followed by the Seafood Platter (a lovely selection of goujons, calmari and prawns). My wife went for the garlic mushrooms followed by "Surf-n-Turf" - again an excellent choice.

Beers were well kept and VERY drinkable and we both thoroughly enjoyed every minute. We'll certainly be going back.
