About The Three Bishops

The Three Bishops is a beautiful example of a classic English country family pub restaurant in the heart of historic Brighstone on the most scenic part of The Isle Of Wight.

Chris and Helen have been welcoming locals and visitors for a number of years and The Three Bishops has steadily grown in reputation and quality to become a must for any family meal, discerning business lunch or private party. The pub is proud to boast the use of fresh local produce, meat and fish as well as having an extensive list of fine wines, beers and real ales.

The Three Bishops has private function facilities available for private parties, wedding receptions and conferences. There is ample seating for large groups, family events or business meetings. Dogs are welcome in the bar area, there is a safe and modern children's play area, an extensive relaxing garden, there is a covered patio area and an extensive modern bar with an old fashioned country feel and plenty of parking.

As well as seating for diners, we have an elegant Bar, where we have an extensive list of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails, as well as champagne, real ales and quality wines. There is ample parking and access for disabled and special needs.

The atmosphere is relaxing, friendly and perfectly in tune with the stunning surroundings of the Island and the village. Chris and Helen look forward to welcoming you soon.

Very good quality food at a very reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly and had a good selection of beers. It's clean, spacious and comfy and, when the weather is nice, there's a great garden area.

The menu has a good variety of traditional British pub grub dishes, and there's also a sizeable selection from a specials board. Prices are very reasonable, so return visits are easily done.

All in all, a decent pub doing what decent pubs do ... serving good beers and good food.
