About The Feathers Hotel

The Feathers Hotel is one of the best known and internationally recognised hotels in the UK. Situated in Ludlow, a picturesque market town, the world famous Feathers Hotel offers the combined atmosphere of a 17th century coaching inn with the facilities of a modern hotel to create a truly memorable experience. The Feathers has an award winning restaurant, and a cafe bar with terrace.

The Feathers is an ideal venue for weddings, civil ceremonies, business meetings and conferences, and private dining. The restaurant, situated in the original heart of the Jacobean building, has been tastefully refurbished. Open to residents and non-residents, the restaurant has been awarded an AA Rosette.

The Feathers' much acclaimed Restaurant enjoys a reputation for offering traditional and innovative, contemporary cooking using fresh, local produce. The kitchen team are dedicated to the goal of maintaining and further improving the reputation of the hotel and the town of Ludlow for high quality food. Each and every day they push as hard as possible to raise the level and to deliver the best quality cuisine to all our diners. Whether it be a bar snack or a five course restaurant meal, we aim to move with the seasons, sourcing local produce wherever possible.

The Hotel's Bar and Lounges are open from mid morning for tea, coffee and light meals. The beautiful Café Terrace is an ideal spot for a quiet meal away from the crowds or a relaxing drink in the fresh air.

We stayed and ate at The Feathers for three days, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was sensational - beautifully cooked with professional unobtrusive service. Breakfast was buffet style for fruit, cereals and juices with waiter service for the cooked-to-order breakfasts. Again, food and service were very good and they always got the orders right (which is worth something nowadays!). And if your taste buds prefer something a little less fancy, the bar menu was also very good with a mouth-watering selection.
