About The Grange Bar and Restaurant

Beddington Park was originally part of the deer park attached to Carew Manor, which was once a major country house. At its height in the Tudor period the park occupied almost all the land between Mitcham Common, Beddington Lane, Croydon Road and London Road. There were avenues of trees along either side and two other avenues radiating out across the park from the west front of the house.

The Grange; a superbly appointed building that has been transformed into a restaurant, bar and function venue situated on the edge of Beddington Park, Wallington in Surrey enjoying views across the parkland with babbling streams winding through the formal gardens of the Grange.

The inspiration behind The Grange as you see it today is the realisation of a dream. The owners hankered after opening a first class venue to provide a theatre for the love of entertaining and food. Offering diners tasty, fresh, locally sourced food that wont cost the earth, superb wines, great beer and an informal, relaxed atmosphere. The Grange has changed. We think you’ll like what you find.

We offer mouth watering cuisine at great prices that wont break the bank. Our menus have been carefully created to suit every palate. From continental to a fusion of Indian & Indo-Chinese; our cuisine is described as a Global Fusion. Using only the freshest and where possible locally produced ingredients we can promise a quality of food second to none.

Went to The Grange with a group of friends specifically because we had heard the curry was good. It was! We couldn't fault the food or the service! Staff are friendly and polite and the food really is top class Indian (there are plenty of European food choices too).

Prices were about okay, but if there was a small negative it's that the bar felt a bit "sterile" (lots of hard surfaces and no comfy cushions). But that was a small price to pay for a darn good meal.
