The Howgate is an exciting Restaurant and Bistro in Midlothian. The long, low building was originally stabling for race-horses and more recently a dairy, producing a wide range of Howgate cheeses. Now refurbished, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. An open log fire in the Bistro sets the scene
